About me

She/Her

I grew up in Portugal where I first trained as a Social Psychologist (MSc), qualifying in 2007.

After that, I went to complete a post graduate course in Psychotherapy and Neuropsychology. During that time, I worked with children with emotional and behavioural issues, regularly completing assessments and carrying treatment plans for children with learning difficulties, ASD and ADHD. I also worked with adults as a psychodynamic therapist, using cultural-hisorical activity theory to inform practice. I also worked with older adults providing neuropsychological rehabilitation.

I moved to the UK in 2013 and started working in mental health services in 2014, having worked in many different services within the NHS and the private sector.

In 2019 I concluded a second MSc in Psychological Therapies and have been working as psychotherapist in the UK since then. In 2025 I concluded the Professional Doctorate in Counselling Psychology.

In my practice, I am greatly influenced by my own life experiences and will bring them into session, if I think they can help you.
